This unique, resistant and waterproof material is paired with leathers from prestigious tanneries, working with respect for the traditional methods. This pairing creates a delicate but striking disruption.
Born in Normandy, design in Paris, made in Fez.
Since childhood, Océane and Clémence are introduced to the enjoyments of creation, entrepreneurship and beautiful values through their fathers who launched together their own business manufacturing inflatable games in Normandy.
Océane earned her diploma in maroquinerie from Grégoire Férrandi in Paris. After working for the prestigious house, Louis Vuitton, she will complete her ‘savoir-faire’ with a formation in shoemaking. She continues to travel regularly around the world to discover other cultures and methods.
Clémence earned her diploma from the Atelier Chardon Savard in Paris. A Stylist for more than ten years; Fashion magazines, fashion houses and advertising agencies are her regular clients. She is also a consultant at Nelly Rodi's and worked for Canal+ and France Télévision with Daphné Burki.
Océane and Clémence Cahu, equally passioned by the desire to create their own brand and inspired by the experience of their fathers, united their talents in September 2016, founding CAHU. They naturally decide to use PVC fabrics from the bouncy castles to design a collection of bags and small leather goods. This unique, resistant and waterproof material is paired with leathers from prestigious tanneries, working with respect for the traditional methods. This pairing creates a delicate but striking disruption.
Beautiful, timeless, precious, functional, this first all-black collection defines, with simplicity, the codes of the brand.
